What’s for Dinner? May 16, 2023

Dinner at my place would probably be a frittata with potatoes, carrots, scallions, and onion, and a small salad made from lettuce from my garden.  And yes, there will be dessert—in this case a mango.  That was the gist of my speech if someone were to drop by unexpectedly for dinner. Today’s appetizing theme was “What’s for Dinner”. Our Toastmaster Naomi Levenson led a lively meeting on the topic. Tina Garg led the table topics session that elicited entertaining responses from go-to dishes and fish heads to Phil Cosby’s statement that if it were a dish his mother didn’t put in front of him, he wasn’t eating it.

Other items we discussed was that the Executive Committee meeting will be on May 24 at noon, the District 4 Conference is this Saturday, and our Anniversary and Awards Meeting will be on June 27.  Hope to see you all at our meeting next Tuesday!
