Special Places
The theme of this all-Table Topics meeting was Places. We learned all sorts of things about places that are special to our various members and guest. Who would ever guess that there is someplace you can go to have ice cream for breakfast? Who brought up childhood memories? What member has been to every continent except Antarctica? Where would members like to go next? One member confessed that she has sets (like movie sets) in her dreams. So many places! All of this because the Toastmaster noticed that a number of friends were travelling.
One unexpected consequence is that one member is inspired to give the speech next week
