At today’s meeting, Reema finished her three-part series on Finding Your Next Job. She
gave tips and suggestions to follow even when you are employed. She spoke of
keeping a positive attitude and gave us tools to use. In each session, she covered ways
Toastmasters can help.
Some of us in the audience are retired yet we learned things to use in our own lives,
such as keeping a list of accomplishments and maintaining networks. I can see how
helpful these would be for my volunteer work.
Reema gave these speeches as part of the Prepare to Speak Professionally project in
Toastmasters Pathways program. You could see the expertise she has gained from the
previous projects.
I continue to be amazed by the variety of things I learn at Toastmasters meeting.
