Time

Time is unlimited open theme for a Toastmaster’s meeting. But the word of the meeting this Tuesday was also boundless – “space”.

The theme was not about “Daylight Saving Time ends” disaster which makes us tweaking and adjusting our “inner clocks”, sleep pattern, clocks and other devices to standard time, and darkness falling one hour earlier.

Susan Swope (our Toastmaster) presented the theme in another way. We should have more time and space in our lives as we don’t have commuting nowadays…

Phil Cosby prepared open ended questions for Table Topics. Eight members discussed “what is time and where it goes”, how to manage your time, best practices of time management for lazy people, “so much to do or so less time we have now”, Daylight saving time, “Is time money?” and philosophical approach to time. So, we heard good lessons to learn.

We had two speakers. Lindee Burton presented us the “Reflection” speech (PM-2, Understanding Your Communications Style). Anne Moseley delivered the “Free Speech and Protecting the Rights of Religious Minorities” speech (IP-3, Inspire your audience). We had long thoughtful evaluations which finalized in a tie between Robbie Prohaska and Hal Huntly.

For sure we had a great time in Zoom space.
