A Privilege and an Honor

It’s been both a privilege and an honor to serve as your president for the last 6 months, and what a 6-months it’s been! Despite the pandemic it’s been a successful term.
We’ve been having fun on Zoom with both regular and special meetings. We hosted our 40th Anniversary party and a first-ever Tall White Elephants Tales meeting. Both were a lot of fun with several laughing out loud moments.
Not only are we having fun, we are also learning. I’ve been able to apply the Zoom meeting skills that I learned through Toastmasters to other work-related events. Additionally, I’ve also been able to hone my Google apps skills and practice blogging and YouTubing.
Toastmasters is so much more than just communication and leadership. Our club provides a fun, supportive environment in which we can learn all sorts of things.
